Welcome to the Saint-Dominique International Institute in Rome (ISD), a school of the Odyssey group, approved by the French Ministry of National Education and recognized as a partner school of the network of the AEFE (Agency for French Education Abroad). ISD offers offered excellent and multilingual education (French, Italian, English) from Pre-kindergarten to Sixth form. The learning environment plays an essential role in the development and success of each student, our spaces are designed to promote academic performance, curiosity, creativity and well-being of students. In a green setting, the Institute benefits from large spaces for extracurricular activities while being well served with a school bus service.

ISD kindergarten

ISD kindergarten is suitable for young children, and welcomes pupils and their parents in an exceptional setting. She builds daily bridges between family and school. The central educational issue for children is “learning together and living together”. Organized in a single cycle, from 3 to 6 years old, kindergarten is the first step to ensure the success of all pupils within a fair and demanding school for everyone. Each child will be able to settle into a multilingual and multicultural daily reality (50 % of the lessons of the French programs are taught in French and 50 % in English, to which is added the learning of Italian).

Pre-Kindergarten

Pre-Kindergarten is a space that makes the connection between the crèche and the Kindergarten. This helps to develop the needs of children and channel their energies. The essential tool of this program is the preparation of children for the upper class of Kindergarten with the aim of taking charge with flexibility and politeness, while disciplining themselves.

Specially designed materials in the Pre-Kindergarten class (2-3 years old) helps give children a sense of satisfaction and allows them to become more independent in their learning. In this context, children begin their school path with early awareness and openness to multilingualism.

Kindergarten

Organized in a single cycle, from 3 to 6 years old, kindergarten is the first step to ensure the success of all pupils within a fair and demanding school for everyone.
