Orientation, a path to higher education from Grade 9 to Grade 12

Orientation, whether it is the choice of options, courses, higher education or career, is a major issue for students from Grade 9 to Grade 12. In a changing world, it can be difficult to project with clarity and confidence. To resolve this challenge, the Institut International Saint-Dominique of Rome and the Odyssey group, in collaboration with the educational team of the institution and experts in guidance, designed ODYSSUP: a personalized coaching program for students who wish to clarify and concretize their project in a progressive and adapted way.

ODYSSUP, a personalised coaching programme

From the Grade 9, ISD offers a common enriching platform that includes lectures on global education systems, professional forums and visits to academic institutions. This course is completed by individual support helping each student to specify his or her objectives and build a solid application.

Grade 9: Explore, get to know each other better and initiate a personal research process.
Grade 10: Discover a wide range of opportunities and affirm your interests.
Grade 11: Choose your path and prepare for selective sectors.
Grade 12: Realize your project by opening the doors of the best world universities.

A Trades Forum is held annually at the ISD in November where each professional, university and parent is invited to present their employment sector to students.

The follow-up by the principal teacher, the PRIO (Personnel Ressource en Information et Orientation) and myself is crucial for the personalized follow-up of each student. This team ensures smooth coordination with our educational partners, ensuring that each student can choose his or her orientation in a safe way.
